Our commitment
The welfare of children and vulnerable adults is paramount. We follow the spirit and the letter of UK safeguarding best practice across all sports we host.
Coach requirements
- Valid coaching qualification.
- Current enhanced DBS check for any coach working with under-18s.
- Public liability insurance.
- Acceptance of the relevant governing body's code of conduct.
Junior accounts
- Minimum age to register is 16. Under-16 accounts are not currently accepted.
- Junior accounts (16–17) are private by default and limited to coaches who are DBS-verified and have opted in to coaching juniors.
- Direct messaging with adults is restricted; coaches may only message juniors in the context of confirmed bookings.
Reporting a concern
If you have a safeguarding concern, email safeguarding@mycoachconnect.co.uk. If a child is in immediate danger, call 999. You can also contact the NSPCC on 0808 800 5000.
Designated Safeguarding Lead
Our DSL reviews every report and may suspend accounts pending investigation.
